As a Safety Specialist for Total Facility Solutions my focus is to ensure a safe working environment

for all employees. To improve or create/enhance training and be able to monitor it into practice.

Responsibilities: Develop, maintain and implement safety procedures, programs and instructing these in the field.  Perform routine work area inspections. Conduct incident investigations and maintain incident records and supporting documents. Check in and routinely inspect and document all mobile equipment on site, ie MEWPs, forklifts and cranes. Ensure effective communications with all departments and employees and communication with client on a daily basis. Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) log for all materials used in the workplace and report weekly, to the client, environmental audits.  Provide new employees with company and site specific safety training.

OSHA 500 - Authorized Outreach Trainer for Construction Standards Competent Person - Scaffolding, Confined Space, Fall Protection CDOT Flagperson Certification

C-SPOT Certification, Oregon and Washington states

CCS -Cowlitz Clean Sweep, a division of PNE in Longview, Washington. Specialized Training for Permit Required Confined Space entry into vessels. Weyhauser Pulp & Paper.

Association of Reciprocal Safety. Yearly Certifications in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana.  1998 through 2003.
